Auctus connects Gulf family offices to UK private-company auctions.
PISCES — the Private Intermittent Securities and Capital Exchange System — lets UK private companies offer existing shares to investors during short, scheduled trading windows run by approved venues and supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Those windows give founders, employees and early backers a regulated route to liquidity without a listing, and give investors access to companies that would otherwise never appear in a public market.
In practice, that market has been hard to reach from outside London. Auctus is the channel built for the other side of it: a single, regulated entry point for professional investors across the Gulf into UK private-share auctions. We qualify each investor, introduce them to the auctions that fit their mandate, and route their orders to the parties that actually execute and settle.
We are deliberately not a venue, a fund or a broker. Auctus does not hold client money and does not hold client assets. Execution, custody and client money sit with an FCA-authorised UK broker, and each investor appears directly on the company’s register as a shareholder. There are no special purpose vehicles, no feeder funds and no pooled holdings between the investor and the shares.
Auctus is for GCC family offices and professional investors who want private UK equity exposure with a real secondary market around it; for UK companies and sellers considering a PISCES window; for venues and auction agents looking for qualified Gulf demand; and for brokers who want distribution into the region without building a presence there.
The company is built by Shamaz Khan, previously founder and CEO of Quantl, a DIFC-based, DFSA-regulated brokerage platform acquired in 2026, and works between London and Dubai. Auctus is not yet authorised by the DFSA or the FSRA and is in discussions with both. Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or a financial promotion, and the service is for professional clients only.
